CURRENT INFORMATION

We currently have about 70 organisations across Cardiff holding foodbank vouchers.
Cardiff Foodbank has, from April 1st until 30th November, fed 1456 adults and 856 children ( a total of 2314 people ) in crisis in our city.
In November alone Cardiff Foodbank fed 245 adults and 120 children ( a total of 365 people )
  - an increase of 48 compared to October

INFORMATION FOR 2011

 Over 10 tons of food was collected from our supermarket collections in 2011, with the last two collections being record amounts for us in Cardiff.
Over 9 tons came in during the Harvest Festival collections from schools and churches
Nearly 1.5 tons was collected via Christmas collections (Rotary, Lions, schools, churches, businesses and individuals)
The largest amount, well over 12 tons, came from regular donations and collections from individuals, schools, churches, universities, businesses and community groups.

Thank you to everyone who donated food in 2011. You helped Cardiff Foodbank feed around 3300 people in crisis in our city during 2011.
